The Music Savages Burning Man Camp was established in 2009 - founded by Los Angelenos Cameron Angeli & Matthew Derham.

This lounge camp provides a stylish multi-level arena with day beds, hammocks, Bocce Ball, jungle gyms, 360 LED light exhibitions, and plenty of shade. Situated on the outskirts of the 9 o’clock avenue, you’ll find welcoming campers from wall over the world with a common love for great music, fun times, and sleazy mustaches.

Throughout the week, participants will enjoy personal and intimate performances by top notch musicians who are encouraged to explore the depths of their record crates. Over the years, the roster of intellectual electronic artists has included Lee Burridge, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Hoj, Wildkats, Worthy, Mighty Kat, Magda, idiot Savant, Yolanda Be Cool, Waifs & Strays, Tone of Arc, Mike Khoury, Atish, Nikita, Ben Seagren, Layne Loomis, Galen, M3, Jimmy B, Anthony Mansfield, Psyrus, Jukes of Hazard, DJ Tatiana, and of course the mood setting group of Music Savage Residents: Cameron Angeli, Matthew Derham, Jake Patrick, and Kent Christian.

Campers will get a reserved space on our map, access to a private shower, a hand made welcome kit, and a place in the Savage Year Book. We accept RVs, trailers, tents or yurts. We also have a large 8 foot high shaded area which can accommodate tents with footprints smaller than 10‘x10’.

New additions to the camp are welcome; however, any new applicant must be sponsored and accompanied by a returning Music Savage camper.
